Hexa Tales Ep-01 || HexaHealth Heart Bypass Success Story
We are pleased to share the very first episode of our new initiative “Hexa Tales”, where we bring you the stories of patients whose lives have been impacted by us, in one way or another. Delhi-based Rajesh Bhalla and his son Sarthak share a strong bond, one that has survived the many ups & downs of life. He admires his father’s strength of mind to relentlessly provide for his family all his life, despite himself suffering from polio.
Sadly, little did they know that the day Mr. Bhalla felt some pain in his left arm was going to be a life-changing one for them – one that would lead to several heart-breaking moments. After almost 2 months, they realized that none of the painkillers and ointments they were trying had helped. At Sarthak’s mother’s insistence, they finally decided to consult a heart surgeon. Several tests & examinations revealed that Mr. Bhalla has three blockages in his heart, all around 90%. They got his angioplasty done at a government hospital, but the entire process was quite difficult to manage as they were not aware of several aspects of the hospital or the treatment procedures.
On their neighbor’s advice, they got in touch with HexaHealth. Our representative Dr. Shikha took on the case and ensured that they had full guidance and support throughout. As Sarthak points out in this video, she was by their side at every step. To start with, she suggested suitable doctors and hospitals for treatment and they finally decided on Metro Hospital & Heart Institute.
When they reached the hospital, everything had been pre-arranged for them by HexaHealth. The doctors and nurses were constantly around Mr. Bhalla, keeping a strict watch on his condition. Besides, Dr. Shikha was constantly alert, frequently following up with them as well as the hospital, apart from guiding & advising the family on the next steps.
The Bhalla family had to face everything with fortitude, courage, and presence of mind. But after his heart bypass surgery, Mr. Bhalla is a changed man. He is able to carry on with his routine tasks and is looking forward to living the rest of his life free of his heart problems.
