Color Coding XLR Cables to Know Which Microphone is Connected to Which Channel on the Recorder

From Wrap-It, I am using the multi-colored cable tags to identify which microphone goes to which channel on the Zoom H8 recorder. I could also write on the colored tags, and use them as labels, but because I may use the same cable for different speakers, on the next job, thus connect the same XLR cable to another channel, I always need to color code on the spot, on the actual setting. Color coding means, placing the same color tag on both ends of one cable.
