This is a visualization rendered with gource using the PHP Project's full commit log history from April 7th 1999 through January 11th 2014. Spanning nearly 15 years of commit history in just 5 minutes. This accounts for over a million lines of code, thousands of files, thousands of committers, and possibly, on the order of millions of man hours. This covers PHP's history dating back to the beginning of PHP 4.0 all the way to PHP 5.6.
