Feren OS Beta 4.1 Install and Look Around

In this video I will be installing Feren OS Next Beta 4.1, Feren Next is based on Ubuntu 18.04 and is using the KDE Plasma desktop environment, it has a few Feren customised applications to help create a better user experience. After installation I take a look around Feren OS Next including some theming Look and Feel Layouts, Nvidia driver installation and wallpapers. Feren Next is out of Experimental and is now in Beta, there are some bugs still existing and this is not meant to be used for a production environment. Feren Next is more than likely to be the successor to his existing Distro Feren OS which uses the Cinnamon desktop and is based on Linux Mint. Hope you enjoy the video.

Nvidia Optimus screen tearing fix -
sudo nano /etc/modprobe.d/nvidia-drm-nomodeset.conf

When file opens add the folowing

options nvidia-drm modeset=1

Save the file - Ctrl+o (to save), Enter (to write the save), Ctrl+x (to exit)

Then run the following command

sudo update-initramfs -u
