Hello potters, In today's video we are reviewing Micro Cerulean SW-217 from the mayco company. A great glaze when fired at cone 6, the micro crystal line surprised me by running very little in comparison to other crystal glazes sold on the market. I used no cookies, stilts, safety measures, I just glazed them like normal. All of these were fires at cone 6 ox with no hold or slow cool. The only downside is this line of glazes do not much care for iron saturated clay bodies. Although they are a "Stoneware line" they work perfectly fine on a porcelain clay body. Keep in mind this specific glaze is not food safe. It's best you use a liner glaze in combination with this product.
