Russia's 24000-Km Range Unique Nuclear Missile That Spooked US Air Force Ready, Launch Pad Revealed?
Two US researchers claim to have identified the probable launch site of Russia’s new nuclear-powered missile which a 2020 US Air Force report said could prove to be a “unique weapon with intercontinental-range capability”. Satellite imagery of the probable launch site of nuclear-powered 9M370 Burevestnik missile, , 475 km north of Moscow, suggests Russia is progressing toward deploying weapons there.
Using images taken on July 26 by Planet Labs, the two US researchers identified a construction project about an alleged nuclear warhead storage facility. The 9M370 Burevestnik, NATO code name SSC-X-9 Skyfall, a new nuclear-powered cruise missile and has been called "invincible” by the Russian president. According to the International Institute for Strategic Studies, the Burevestnik could have a notional range of up to 24,000 km.
