Maduro’s government has fiercely rejected these claims, blaming US sanctions for Venezuela’s woes and accusing Washington of orchestrating sabotage, including alleged involvement in nationwide power outages. Meanwhile, global powers like Russia and China continue to support Maduro, viewing the US actions as attempts at imperialist dominance.
This geopolitical divide has worsened Venezuela’s instability, prompting mass migration across Latin America. While the international community remains divided, the country’s future hangs in the balance, as Maduro holds onto power amid increasing pressure from both domestic opposition and foreign powers.
