Dawn Morse and Katie Campbell of Core Elements Training demonstrate Mobilisation techniques at the Ankle joint, including movements such as, dorsiflexion, anterior to posterior and posterior to anterior movement and caudad.
These techniques are excellent for increasing range of movement at the ankle, along with reducing generalised pain and disfunction around the wider ankle region. These techniques are also useful in the treatment of foot and lower limb injuries lined to reduced movement at the ankle joint, such as Achilles tendon strain, lower leg cramping and plantar fasciitis.
These are some examples of the techniques covered in Core Elements accredited CPD short course in Manual Therapy and Joint Mobilisation, which is available as a face to face course at our training centre in Swindon, Wiltshire (UK).
Core Elements Training delivers a range of accredited Sports Massage and Sports Therapy based qualifications and short courses.
