I will teach you couple of simple techniques and by using those you will be able to write nice melodies even if you don’t know music theory at all or not so good at it. There are couple of key elements which make that nice anjunadeep sound. The first tip is using the chords and the key of your track, because the chords gonna lead your melody, so you want to follow your chord progression. We’ll talk about that in the tutorial. The second tip will help you to make your melodies more interesting, but there’s an interesting thing here! Sometimes more repetitive melodies actually sound more variative for the listener and here you need to find your balance. It’s a really cool thing if you can implement this technique in your mixes, because simplicity is the thing which will make your tracks sound pro.
And the final tip is using scales and resolving melodies. When making a melody (or a chord progression) it should loop in a nice way, so the end and the beginning of your melody sound good together. By using scales even without music theory you will be able to make professional melodies. Sounds great isn’t it?
