In this video I’m gonna be teaching you guys sound design basics and we will make 3 lead sounds for an Organic House/Melodic House track. If you want to make better lead sounds for your melodies make sure ti watch this video till the end! :)
To make those 3 iconic lead sounds of Anjunadeep we are gonna be using a wavetable synthesizer X-fer Serum. It’s an amazing and versatile synth with a lot of sound design possibilities for your bass, lead, pad or basically any kind of sound. I will teach how to select wavetables for your lead and how to combine different waveforms to make a nice bright and powerful lead.
You will also learn how to use envelopes (ADSR) inside a synthesizer and how to modulate and control such parameters as filter, volume, effects, etc. And finally I’m gonna show you how to utilize effects like chorus, distortion/saturation, phaser, equalizer etc. so your Anjunadeep plucks sound better
