This movement combination will smoke your hamstrings, core and back. Perform a single leg deadlift, at the half way point execute a controlled row, returning back to the starting position. Seems easy, but it’s challenging.

Movements like this are a real eye-opener for a number of reasons.

#1 - You don’t need much weight to feel this in the hamstrings, grip and back.

#2 - Combining movement patterns creates a whole new training challenge (balance, coordination, etc)

#3 - Refreshing mode of resistance training.

#4 - Performing 5-6 reps adds time under tension, balance, etc.

#5 - Only one dumbbell required.

👉 Aim for 3 sets of 5-6 reps per leg
