Technology is all around us – now so more than ever. And whether it’s at home, at work or at play, education is a key component in helping to prevent thieves from stealing your personal information. Hear from representatives of the N.C. Department of Information Technology about how you can better stay safe online and protect your privacy.
Rob Main, CGIO, is the deputy state risk officer for the state of North Carolina, where he provides leadership in the development and maintenance of a cybersecurity program that safeguards North Carolina's information and supporting infrastructure against cyberattacks.
Main has also served as chief information officer for a number of state agencies, including the N.C. Department of Military and Veteran Affairs, Office of State Human Resources and the N.C. Department of Insurance.
He has also held IT positions with the U.S. Air Force, N.C. Air National Guard, N.C. Department of Health and Human Services and N.C. State University.
