Q: What's the best area to stay?
A: Central Tamarindo near Sunrise Plaza has easy beach access, restaurants, and nightlife. Beachfront hotels cost $150-300, Mid-range places $80-150, Hostels $15-30. Book ahead December-March.

Q: What activities can you do besides surf?
A: Popular activities: Surf lessons ($50), Catamaran trips ($85), Sport fishing ($400-600), Estuary boat tours ($40), ATV tours ($70), Yoga classes ($15), Spanish lessons ($20/hour).

Q: How's the food scene?
