Monday Quicktip - Adapters Every Hot Seater Should Bring
In today's Monday Quicktip, I talk about the video adapters every hot seater should bring with them to trial, no matter what kind of computer you have. The reason why I plan for so much uncertainty is because I frequently have to support not only my computer but also the computer of an expert witness who "suddenly" must be able to testify from their laptop and from the witness stand.
While anyone else's computers or technical issues are outside of your responsibilities, when it comes to trial, you are there on site and will be the one that everyone looks to, even if the trial is local and the client lawfirm has a robust and capable IT department.
Sometimes, things roll downhill, and the hot seater is frequently at the bottom. So it pays to be prepared.
