Roz was working in security when the hotel approached her about becoming a porter. The Noongar mother of six found that many of the same skills, including a good knowledge of people and customer relations, applied in her new role, and loves working with a supportive team. “If someone were to make a career change, definitely do it ... go with that gut feeling because in the end you’ll be happy.”
