Railway Fishplate lubrication - Out with the old in with the new
Lubrication of the fishplate is essential to make sure the joints can work properly. It allows the rails to expand and contract as the temperature changes. It used to be done with thick black grease, that needed the joint full disassembling. But this has changed!
