Update: I have been using the LifeProof for about six months now. It has been a great case and it has saved my iPhone many of times. I drop my phone almost daily. Plus, I love going into the water with my phone.
I have swam laps, went into the Gulf of Mexico and had a blast filming my family in the pool with my phone.
However, I will say that the phone did leak. With that being said, all I had to do was contact lifeproof and they sent me a brand-new case.
Now, even though the lifeproof case leaked, it did not ruin my phone. It did cause a slight malfunction with the speaker in the earpiece, however that was solved after a night in some rice.
So even though it leaked it did protect my phone from being ruined. Plus, I was in water filming underwater. What more can you ask for.
This is a fantastic case if you're looking to do something out of the ordinary with your phone.
