Western Digital just dropped an 8TB SSD for the PlayStation 5, but is it worth the $1000 price tag? This new SN850P model is only 2mm shorter than the existing SN850X, yet it costs $100 more. With the 4TB version priced at just $349 and the SN850X model available for $899, is the size reduction really worth the extra cash? Plus, WD is throwing in a free one-month PlayStation Plus subscription with the purchase, but does that justify the steep price increase?
