This update brings significant improvements, especially for SSD series NAS devices, with up to double the IOPS performance in some cases. Enhanced security features include ransomware detection and prevention, along with support for self-encrypting drives. Other updates include better system backup efficiency, selective restores, a 30% increase in boot and shutdown performance, and the ability to log into your NAS using Active Directory credentials. Plus, you can now perform bare-metal backups on Windows systems.
