Lidar is a truly fascinating technology. It is being used in self-driving cars, drones, and advanced aerospace technology. So I wanted to build an IoT wearable device that would allow me to get some hands-on experience with using LIDAR. For this electronics project, I decided to build LIDAR smart glasses using an Arduino and IMU which will allow me to measure the height and lengths of any object just by scanning my face over them with the laser light.
