Wireguard VPN - How to Setup
Wireguard VPN is a new VPN protocol that is faster than OpenVPN, better for mobile battery life, and offers newer modes of security. For most people, Wireguard vpn vs Openvpn is an easy choice, go with Wiregaurd unless you need the legacy support (especially for enterprise) that is available with Openvpn.
In this video, I walk you through the wireguard vpn setup process using a Raspberry Pi 4 and the PiVPN script.
Why setup a VPN server in the first place? There are a lot of reasons but the most important thing for me is to have the ability to use my Pihole to block ads while I'm on mobile data or networks outside of my home.
