Upgrading API Portal from February 2022 to May 2022 – – Mandatory Prerequisites
May 2022 API Portal is bundled with a major new release of the Joomla platform, Joomla 4. This video explains the mandatory prerequisites that you must complete before upgrading to May 2022.
Mandatory Pre-requisites:
1. Increasing the php.ini max file size from 20mb to allow the Joomla update package to be uploaded
2. Disabling the T3 Framework plugin as it does not support Joomla 4
Review the Optional Prerequisites video (found here: • Upgrading API Portal from February 20... ) also if you are using a custom API Portal database adapter (mysqli_enc or mysqli_ssl). If you are not using these adapters, you can proceed directly with running apiportal_upgrade.sh to upgrade API Portal to the May 2022 release.
