Sad news reached us this week on the future of bfv. Following a final content update coming in June there will be no new content for battlefield v.

Alongside the news that there will be no chapter 7 for bfv and bf5 is nearing its end, we have confirmation that update 6.6 (the may update) is still on schedule to release as planned. What to expect from the new update remains largely unclear for now.

Battlefield V is a first-person shooter video game developed by EA DICE and published by Electronic Arts. Battlefield 5 is the sixteenth instalment in the Battlefield series. It was released worldwide for Microsoft Windows (PC), PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on November 20, 2018.

Battlefield V is focused extensively on party-based features and mechanics, scarcity of resources, and removing "abstractions" from game mechanics to increase realism. There is an expanded focus on player customization through the new Company system, where players can create multiple characters with cosmetic and weapon options.

BF5 features several new multiplayer modes, including the "continuous" campaign mode "Firestorm", and "Grand Operations". The Grand Operations mode is an expansion of the "Operations" mode introduced in Battlefield 1, which focuses on matches taking place across multiple stages to simulate a campaign from the war. Alongside long-standing classics such as Conquest, BFV also features Breakthrough, Frontlines, Rush, Team Death Match (TDM), Domination, Outpost and Squad Conquest amongst the available game modes.

BF5 multiplayer combat is a combination of infantry and vehicular warfare, featuring a variety of weapons, gadgets, tanks, transport vehicles and aircraft. Individual weapons can be upgraded with specialisations and customised with skins and other cosmetic upgrades.
