So here it is, the beginning of the End for BFV... A sad day for us all!

DICE today announced the end of active support for Battlefield V. A last update will release for BF5 in June, after which no new content will be added to the game.
Hints as to the possibility of the soviets making an entrance for the last bit of content have been dropped, let's see what still awaits us!
Further to that we have confirmation that Update 6.6 is on schedule for an early May release and remains unaffected by these changes.

Battlefield V is a first-person shooter video game developed by EA DICE and published by Electronic Arts. Battlefield 5 is the sixteenth instalment in the Battlefield series. It was released worldwide for Microsoft Windows (PC), PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on November 20, 2018.

Battlefield V is focused extensively on party-based features and mechanics, scarcity of resources, and removing "abstractions" from game mechanics to increase realism. There is an expanded focus on player customization through the new Company system, where players can create multiple characters with cosmetic and weapon options.

BF5 features several new multiplayer modes, including the "continuous" campaign mode "Firestorm", and "Grand Operations". The Grand Operations mode is an expansion of the "Operations" mode introduced in Battlefield 1, which focuses on matches taking place across multiple stages to simulate a campaign from the war. Alongside long-standing classics such as Conquest, BFV also features Breakthrough, Frontlines, Rush, Team Death Match (TDM), Domination, Outpost and Squad Conquest amongst the available game modes.

BF5 multiplayer combat is a combination of infantry and vehicular warfare, featuring a variety of weapons, gadgets, tanks, transport vehicles and aircraft. Individual weapons can be upgraded with specializations and customized with skins and other cosmetic upgrades.
