Crucchi Gang | LIVE @ Reeperbahn Festival 2021
Benvenuti in Italia, Amore e Musica - Musik, die unsere große Liebe zu Italien feiert und nach Sommer, Disco, Eis und, ja!, Europa klingt. Geboren wurde die Idee in Berlin, irgendwann nach dem Besuch eines Bob-Dylan-Konzerts, beim gemeinsamen Biertrinken von Charlotte Goltermann, Sven Regener und Francesco Wilking: Deutschsprachige Musiker und Musikerinnen singen ihre eigenen Songs auf Italienisch und daraus wird eine Platte! Und hier ist sie nun. Willkommen bei der „Crucchi Gang”!
Wilking, seines Zeichens Mitglied von Die Höchste Eisenbahn, präsentiert am 24.9. zusammen mit Sven Regener (Element Of Crime), Matthias Rode (Von Wegen Lisbeth), Steiner & Madlaina und Tobias Bamborschke (Isolation Berlin) im Michel Songs aller Beteiligten (und viel mehr) auf Italienisch und versucht damit nicht nur die negative Konnotation aus dem namensgebenden Begriff zu verbannen (spöttisch werden Deutsche im Italienischen als „Crucchi” bezeichnet, was aber im Singular auch so viel wie „beschränkt” oder „verbohrt” bedeuten kann), sondern auch ein wenig das transkulturelle Brückenschlagen voranzubringen. Natürlich mit ganz viel Amore und Passione.
Unsere Festivals finden im Zeichen des Miteinanders statt– Rassismus, Sexismus, Homophobie und Ausgrenzung finden bei uns keinen Platz.

Music that celebrates our great love of Italy and sounds like summer, disco, ice cream and, yes!, Europe. The idea was born in Berlin, sometime after attending a Bob Dylan concert, while Charlotte Goltermann, Sven Regener and Francesco Wilking were drinking beer together: German-speaking musicians sing their own songs in Italian and a record is born! And here it is. Welcome to the "Crucchi Gang"!
Wilking, a member of Die Höchste Eisenbahn, presents together with Sven Regener (Element Of Crime), Matthias Rode (Von Wegen Lisbeth), Steiner & Madlaina and Tobias Bamborschke (Isolation Berlin), songs by all participants (and many more) in Italian at the Michel, thus not only trying to banish the negative connotation from the eponymous term (Germans are derisively called "Crucchi" in Italian, which in singular can also mean something like "limited" or "pigheaded"), but also to promote a little transcultural bridge-building. With a lot of amore and passione, of course.
Our festivals take place under the sign of togetherness - racism, sexism, homophobia and exclusion have no place here.
