You need to control your backgrounds! In this Sooty Tyrannulet shot, I noticed some odd things in the background, such as the strange bokeh that PF lenses like the Nikon 500mm f/5.6 PF lens occasionally create. Luckily, darktable has a lens blur tool that can help you with that. I'll also show you some other burn and dodging techniques to help make backgrounds better also.
