The PuTTYgen program is important for PuTTY, an open source organizing customer for the Windows stage.

To produce a SSH key pair on Windows utilizing the PuTTYgen program:

Download and introduce PuTTY or PuTTYgen.

To download PuTTY or PuTTYgen, go to http://www.putty.org/and click the You can download PuTTY here connection.

Run the PuTTYgen program.

The PuTTY Key Generator window is shown.

Set the Type of key to create alternative to SSH-2 RSA.

In the Number of pieces in a created key box, enter 2048.

Snap Generate to create a public/private key pair.
