Led by their sense of smell red river hogs are tenacious foragers! Keepers work hard to hide the hogs food throughout the habitat allowing them to utilize their powerful snouts. Red river hogs are omnivores and at Blank Park Zoo they eat a variety of foods like fruits, vegetables, hay, and nuts.
