Mixing low end can be very challenging if you don’t know what to do and what tools to use. You will learn essential low end mixing techniques that will help you to understand the theory better and start mixing your low end like a pro

The first thing I’m gonna talk about in this video is the foundation. If you want to learn how to mix low end you really need to understand this concept. Get the right sounds from the beginning so you don’t have to fix it in the mix later.

The second thing is the sidechain. If you don’t know what is sidechain and how to use a sidechain this video will be very helpful. I will show you examples, draw diagrams and explain sidechain in simple terms so you guys learn how to mix with sidechain.

Tip #3 is dynamics. It’s really important if you want to transition from a beginner to a professional producer. I will explain how to work with velocity and dynamics in your track.

After the theory part I will show you my kick and bass processing. You will learn how to eq kick and how to compress kick.

Then I’ll show you how to mix melodic techno bass. I will break down the processing chain and you will learn how to mix low end like a pro using the mixing techniques I’m gonna share with you.

And finally I will break down for you my low end bus processing chain. You will learn how mix with saturation, how to use multiband compressor and more.
