Terrifying moment panel comes flying off ride at university
Two students were taken to hospital after a panel came flying off a fairground ride mid-air at a university fun day.
The drama unfolded at 'Chestival', a day of activities arranged by Chester Students' Union.
The event had been underway for just over an hour when a piece of the 'Superstar' ride - billed as a thrilling 'whirlwind at super speed' by organisers - broke free and collided with two of the ride's fast-moving cars, before hurtling to the ground.
