In this talk, Vikram Sharma will present an overview of where we are and where we are going with Post-Quantum Cryptography. Adopting post-quantum cryptography (PQC) is a ‘no-brainer’ for most organizations in their quantum safe transformation. Protecting data today from tomorrow’s quantum computers is something most organizations want. However, there is more to foiling “harvest now, decrypt later” attacks and adopting PQC’s than “flipping a switch.”
The most pressing issue is crypto agility. That is, switching from one crypto algorithm to another or supporting multiple algorithms without having to go back to square one every time and hard coding the changes into the infrastructure. In his presentation, Vikram Sharma will address crypto agility and why it is such a major consideration and critical underpinning for organizations looking to adopt PQC.
