Nature watch for a day- (any bug experts out there?)
The part of the world I live in is far from being known for it's flora and fauna. Nevertheless you can find interest in nature almost anywhere and I was surprised what I found by simply being more observant for one day.
So rather than stepping on that bug, why not find out a little bit about it first? I, for instance, didn't know that Wood Lice breathed through gills or that the weeds on my lawn were actually Violets. ;-)
Try this yourself, you might be surprised too.
As you'll notice, there was one specimen that I was unable to identify. If anyone happens to have a lead please let me know!
