One of the most tragic executions of the Second World War saw a young 21 year old woman being led into the execution chamber of Stadelheim Prison. Sophie Scholl was a member of the White Rose, and she helped to produce and distribute leaflets which the Third Reich deemed were treasonous. For this she was taken to the guillotine inside of a prison in Munich where she encountered the ruthless executioner Johann Reichhart.
