Drum Reverb Trick
We all love adding reverb to our drums, but too much can overwhelm the mix.
Here’s a technique to modify the signal going into the reverb for a tighter effect.
On your reverb bus, place a transient designer before the reverb. I use an enveloper for this.
Adjust the settings to reduce the tail and slightly boost the attack.
This will give your reverb a more controlled space and result in a punchier drum sound.
