This week’s Sonic Speed Sim update is great! I managed to unlock Unchained Werehog and then got to work on the latest quest for Doom Shadow. This was my first Werehog skin and I love the way he runs. He’s got those big ole claw feet now. He’s awesome.
I had to get used to this track – but check out Radical Highway – I mean, it’s so unusual and the sounds are very creative! It has its own atmosphere for sure! This quest seemed to go a bit faster than usual, which I really appreciated.
Part of this quest was going to another Roblox game called Really Easy Obby – which, as it turned out, really is an easy obby. Even I managed to make it through, and I got the badge AND I love this new Doom Eye companion!
I am getting better, and this is the best way – like they say, just do it!
So I had to be reminded that the instructions for Doom Shadow’s wings are to press Q on the keyboard until the wings appear. Now when I hit Y, it fires off spears! I love this Doom Shadow! This is so unique!
You know, I read somewhere that it is Shadow who is the favorite character in the Sonic Universe. I really love Shadow, but I still don’t have a favorite. I think this Doom Eye friend will stay in my inventory because if how cool it looks.
Do you think that was the longest Time Trial yet in Sonic Speed Sim? I might be wrong, I’m not sure but it feels that way.
Doom Surf seems to turn on automatically once you hit the surface of the water. Check out this Doom surfboard. It’s cool, isn’t it?
The next thing I need to do is practice throwing the spears. This ability is a great addition for destroying badniks! You will need to recharge for a second or two…
I’m glad to have him and I wish I could see all of the characters abilities listed somewhere because I traded away my Adventure Shadow not realizing he was – I believe – the first and so far only skin with the ability to throw a spear. When I looked in my inventory, it didn’t appear he was special – but he is, so I’m only trading the dupes I have in my inventory. I like collecting things, and the skins I work for are one of my collections!
So now I know to go to the Wiki page for each of these Sonic Speed Sim skins and I hope we get to see the skins special abilities listed someday…
The Wiki page for Doom Shadow says, “Doom Shadow is similar in appearance to the regular Shadow now with updated shoes, but you can unleash the Doom Wing, which are veiny and dark with red highlights, entering the state known as Winged Doom. Winged Doom Shadow has additional shadowy particles surrounding him when performing certain actions like jumping and using hoverboards to hide his wings! When stepping onto water, Shadow activates Doom Surf, which takes the shape of a manta ray at Shadow's feet with the same color scheme and texture as the Doom Wing. Doom Surf also has an inky black trail when it moves.
