Meet the World's Most Adorable Spider | Webbed Complete Playthrough
I found a game that looks perfect for me, so let's do a full playthrough of Webbed! Hopefully you'll enjoy it as much as I did! I've written a short review below for anyone who might be interested:
Webbed is a 2D platform game developed by Sbug Games. Set in Queensland, apparently, we play as a female peacock spider with the aim of rescuing her boyfriend, after a shock kidnapping by a bowerbird that I definitely didn't see in the trailer. With help from a friendly moth, ants, bees and dung beetles, we build a hot air balloon to get up to the bower. If anyone is going to eat this spider's boyfriend, it's gonna be us.
The game relies on web slinging mechanics that rival the best of the Spiderman games, as well as web building, to help you manoeuvre around a decently-sized microscopic world. It's not the longest game, I 100%ed it in around 8 hours (requiring two playthroughs because of one achievement, and with a fair bit of time spent messing around) but I do think there's a good replay factor through speedruns and just enjoying messing about. Coming from one person who is very easy to please and loves invertebrates, I highly recommend picking it up!
