Follow these steps and you will be able to do it:
1. Open up Instagram app on your mobile phone and login to your profile.
2. Click on the plus icon at the top right.
3. Now select “Story”.
4. Upload a photo from your gallery.
5. Now tap on the button at the bottom right corner.
6. Select “Close friends” and tap on “Share”.
