Risers are a crucial type of transition not only in electronic music. They create tension and anticipation for the musical part to come. In this video, we're going to look at a method for creating continuous rising tones for risers, which can be created with virtually any instrument in Ableton Live. Of course, the same method can be used to create downlifters. Meld also offers an oscillator shape for this very purpose, which we will also look at.
