Toyota Prius UK Modoel Keyfob Case Replacement - Type 2 Generation 2 Models from 2004 to 2009
This is a little short video I made just because I followed several tutorials and for some reason they didn't mention the immobiliser chip that also needs to be transferred over.
If it helps someone when changing their keyfob over then my work is done and stops them from almost throwing away the old keyfob with the immobiliser chip still in it.
This is for the Toyota Prius Gen 2 made from 2004 to 2009. This is the UK version as I've noticed the USA one has an extra red button as well as the opening and locking buttons.
There are loads of places that sell these third party replacement covers. I got mine on eBay but also available on Amazon and other sellers. Cost as of Jan 2024 is approximately £6-£7 ($7-$8).
