Cheeky Sega Mega Drive Genesis Easy Fix - Common Megadrive Fault that has an easy and quick fix
The Sega Megadrive/Genesis is a fantastic games console and is the definition of 90's Rad! Like most consoles of this era, they where designed to last around 5 years max, at 31 years old, its not doing bad. There is one issue that fixes most Megadrives and that is the power socket that was directly soldered onto the main board. After years of plugging and unplugging, all it has is its 3 solder connections keeping it in place which eventually crack. Here we take a Megadrive 2 apart and get this connection back to full health again.
