Peer-e-Kamil or The Perfect Mentor is a novel by Umera Ahmad. Quite honestly, this is my all-time favourite novel and I don't think any other literary work can take away this place.
This novel is a dedication to the Prophet Muhammad (saw). It is the story of Imama Hashim and Salar Sikandar. We read about their personalities, union and reunion, and most importantly, their transformation.
Peer-e-Kamil always makes me think about my relationship with Allah and His Rasool (saw). It is an incredibly well-written piece of fiction and I highly recommend it.
