Building an App with MQTT Functionality in MobileTogether
MQTT is a lightweight protocol for communication among IoT devices that uses a publish/subscribe architecture. Support for MQTT in MobileTogether lets you build apps that act as an MQTT subscriber, publisher, or both.
In this demo, we create an app using MQTT to monitor and manage smart devices in a home automation scenario. This functionality can be used to create client apps for myriad scenarios that utilize MQTT today, including industrial automation processes in energy production, healthcare, manufacturing, and beyond.
