Macro Map Anything in the Live Set with Ableton's Shaper - With a Little Help from Max for Live
Racks are great in Ableton Live, because you can map parameters you want quick access to. Normally this only works with parameters in the Live Set though. Utilising Ableton's Shaper Max for Live device it becomes possible to map anything within the Live Set to a macro in an Instrument Rack, Drum Rack, MIDI Effect Rack or Audio Effect Rack. Additionally you can map up to 8 parameters from anywhere in the Live Set to a rack's macro. This way you can make changes on the fly and conviently from one rack. Perfect for live performances or when you prefer jamming your music productions live.
