SPSS for Beginners - Paired Samples t-test Tutorial.

This tutorial walks through a simple example in SPSS of testing for a mean difference across two related samples. Includes setup and explanation of test results. These tests are variously referred to as matched samples, matched pairs, paired samples, related samples or repeated measures.

This type of test is used to see if there is a statistically significant difference in the mean value of a variable under different conditions, i.e. before and after, and is commonly used in testing treatment efficacy.
