Colecovision Playing Itself- Is it the Controller or is it the Console?
Ever since I got this Colecovision, it has had an issue. It always pulls to the right. As I had only tested it quickly with one controller I had always suspected it was the controller that had this issue, therefore a video on how to clean the controller similar to the one I did for the Intellevision was planned. However, it was only with the controller unplugged and it was still doing the same thing that I realised that something else was going on.

The controller chip that usually causes this issue is a SN74LS541N Octal-Channel Buffer & Line Driver, 3-State chip or its simpler name, make my Colecovision controller work chip. These can sometimes get a static charge from plugging or unplugging that controller that frys them. The good news is that in 2023 it is still a manufactured chip by Texas Instruments so can normally buy it from main electronic suppliers and usually for only a couple of ££ $$ or ¥¥
