There are a lot of methods of doin firewall rules in UniFi. in this UniFi firewall rules tutorial, i will show my way of doing firewall rules. all methods out there are valid but i find this method to be the most secure and easy to manage.
in this UniFi firewall rules tutorial, you will see that the starting point will be to completely block any traffic between vlans and then on demand, opening certain routes to certain devicesin certain ports. only what you define to go through will go through, all other traffic will remain blocked.
