How to categorize your APIs
This 8 minute video demonstrates how to categorize APIs in your API catalog. There are many reasons to do this, but the main reason it makes sense to split up your APIs into different categories in the API Portal is to improve the user experience for the API Developer.
For instance, when the API Portal is connected to multiple API Managers hosting Production APIs and Sandbox APIs, it makes sense to split them up in different sections. With that, you can also control, for instance, Sandbox-APIs, which can be tried using the Try-It interface. But Production APIs not. Or, there is a large amount of APIs in the API Catalog and it becomes unhandy to search for the right API.
