How To Prepare For A Discovery Call: Eliminate Discovery Call Anxiety.

You might want a discovery call script or even a discovery call template to help you prepare for a discovery call. You'll find that even if you had those things, you'd want sales tips and a discovery call agenda so that you would know how to run a sales discovery call.

Discovery call anxiety is real! Don't fall prey to it. It's important as an entrepreneur or maybe a new coach, that you learn everything that you can about running your online business which involve marketing, branding, sales and of course your mindset.

So many people wish they had a discovery call script but I would say however that a discovery call checklist is even more helpful.

1. Address objections in your marketing ahead of time to prepare prospect
2. Ground yourself so that you're ready for working with your client
3. Introduce yourself
4. Build rapport
5. Discover their problems
6. Learn what an ideal situation would be like for them
7. Position yourself as an expert who knows how to close the gap
8. Look for more pain-points as objections pop up
9. Tell a story about a client who had the same problems/issues
10. Ask them if they want to learn how to work with you
11. Ask them to set up an appointment for their first session
12. Ask them which payment method they'd like to use today

When we're building an online business so we can work from home, we need to dig deep to find the mindset blocks that come up for us when we're visualizing ourselves doing this sales call process.

These discovery call tips are meaningless if we are dealing with resistance around even doing a sales call. My prospects and clients are always telling me they think they'll make a mistake. Even though I give them the guide to running a client discovery process and how to run a discovery call in my Sales & Confidence Mastery program, they still deal with doubts which always turn into overwhelm and fear.

The last thing that we want for any coach or consultant is to procrastinate and avoid creating success in their business just because deep down they're dealing with self worth issues and a bad mindset about being visible and in control.

You can literally have the best discovery call structure that turns cold leads into closed business but if you're too full of anxiety and doubt then, you'll never succeed and make money online.

You'd be surprised at how many people are intimidated by doing discovery calls. I even provide a discovery call script for new coaches and they still feel like they can't do it. I mention this to share with you that you can have all of the information to have an effective discovery call but if your mindset is in the gutter, you'll always struggle.
