Für mehr Flexibilität, Stabilität sowie eine höhere Wechselpräzision optimierte HORN mit der neuen Werkzeuggeneration des modularen Wechselkopf-Frässystems DG die Schnittstelle zwischen Schneidkopf und Schaft. Dies ermöglicht die neue Vollhartmetall-Monoblockausführung des Wechselkopfes. Das bedeutet, dass die Schnittstelle sowie die gewünschte Schneidenform aus einem Rohling präzisionsgeschliffen sind. Die hohe Präzision erreicht das System durch einen Führungszapfen, ein Präzisions-Trapezgewinde sowie durch eine Kegel-/Plananlage. Die Wechselgenauigkeit liegt hierbei im µ-Bereich.
With the new tool generation of the DG modular interchangeable head milling system, HORN has optimised the interface between the cutting head and shank for greater versatility, stability and higher changeover precision. This is made possible by the new, solid carbide monoblock design of the replaceable head. It means that the interface and the desired cutting edge shape are precision ground from a carbide blank. The system achieves high precision through a guide pin, a precision trapezoidal thread and a taper/flat contact. The changeover accuracy is in the µ range.
