On 12 July, the Henry Moore Institute will reopen with an exhibition of work by Hany Armanious, one of Australia’s leading sculptors. This will be his first solo exhibition in Europe showcasing work from the last 20 years.
Having emigrated from Egypt to Australia at six, Armanious explores the world through its material. His sculptures question how we perceive reality, using everyday objects to create intricate casts that challenge our notions of originality. When you encounter his work, you’ll realise not everything is as it seems…
Join us for the preview on 11 July, 6-8pm. Free entry.
